In fulfilling its institutional aims, Nuovo IMAIE promotes in every way performing artists’ rights through both a deeper study of the means by which the right is implemented and the cooperation with all competent authorities dealing with said rights.
Nuovo IMAIE is engaged in spreading Italian music and cinematographic culture, it promotes research, study and knowledge in the area of its production and dissemination in the interest of performing artists.
The Institute carries out directly or indirectly all activities aiming to protect and professionally support artists.
Nuovo IMAIE, in compliance with ex art. 7 Law 93 of February 5, 1992, uses remuneration relative to rights for which it is not possible to identify right holders, for activities of study and research as well as promotional aims, training, and professional support of performing artists

In compliance with the law: Nuovo IMAIE “uses the sums referred to in paragraph 1 and those referred to in art. 5, paragraph 5, and art. 6, paragraph 5 as well as the share referred to in art. 71-octies, paragraph 3 of law no. 633,April 22, 1941 and following modifications and integrations, for activities of study and research as well as for promotional aims, training, and professional support to performing artists or interpreters”. |
